Faculty Medical Microbiology and Medical Laboratory Technology

Dr. Pooja Naudiyal is serving as Associate Professor and In-charge in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Medical Laboratory Technology at Sardar Bhagwan Singh University of Biomedical Sciences & Research, Dehradun. She holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry and has 18 years of teaching and research experience. She has published 14 research papers, contributed 7 book chapters, and authored 1 book. Her intellectual property contributions include 2 design patents (one Indian and one UK), 1 copyright, and 1 utility patent. Dr. Naudiyal has received several prestigious awards, including the Shikshak Shiromani Award from Samaj Vikas Sansthan, Meerut (2020), theAppreciation Award from Sardar Bhagwan Singh University (2022), the Academic Excellence Award at an international conference held at IHMS Kotdwara (2023), the Naari Shakti Samman during International Women’s Day celebrations in Dehradun (2024), and the Excellence in Student Mentorship Award during a National Workshop conducted by Pt. L.M.S. Sridev Suman University, Rishikesh (2025), in recognition of her outstanding contributions to teaching, research, and student mentorship.
