The Department is pillared by extremely dynamic post-graduate faculty members. They are engaged in conducting regular scheduled curricular classes involving theory, practical exposure, evidence based practice and research work. The faculty has a varied background of teaching and clinical experience from premier institutes, hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Majority of the faculty members are award winners at various conferences. Actively involved in research, the faculty has published and presented several papers in various journals and conferences of national and international repute. The renowned faculties also linked with international expertise keeps on enriching the students professionally at different workshops, conferences and refresher courses at reputed institutions in the country and abroad. The faculties are actively engaged in research and development and supervise the research work of students.
He has a total teaching experience of more than 27 years. He has presented and published more than 150 papers in various international and national journals. Dr. Maneesh has conducted more than 100 workshops or extended lectures in manual therapy in various parts of the country. He has been rewarded with 8 national level awards including “PHYSIO RATAN”(AIIMS 2013) AND “BEST ACADEMICIAN AWARD –INCPT 2014. He is an external examiner in 30 universities. He has guided more than 300 dissertations for U.G and P.G students. Dr Maneesh has completed doctorate in Osteopathy from Spain.
She has a teaching experience of 26 years. She has presented 65 papers in various conferences around the nation, out of which 15 were awarded as best paper. She has 13 publications in various international and national journals. She has published two book chapters including Pulmonary Rehabilitation in Covid Patients and Women at Workplace.She is the member of editorial board of journal of repute .Dr Reena has also participated in more than 40 conferences and workshops. She has guided more than 200 dissertations for U.G and P.G students. She is the external examiner in 20 universities. She has been honoured by 33rd S Radhakrishnan Memorial National Teachers Award at Delhi, 2017.She has also received Woman Empowerment (Nari Shakti) Award and Star Faculty Award at Sports Connect,Delhi,2018. She has awarded for Merit in her Master’s program. She has Organized various conferences, Workshops and physiotherapy camps during her services.. She has been chairperson in various scientific sessions and acted as an expert in recruitment of physiotherapist in reputed organizations.Reviewer at Elsevier publications.Also Awarded as Service to Profession Award and PhysioRatan Award.

He has guided more than 100 dissertations for U.G and P.G students. He is an external examiner in 05 universities. Dr Arun has also conducted various national and international workshops as a resource person. He was awarded the “Young Achiever Award” by I.A.P in 2014, Certificate of appreciation in 2017 & Best Academician Award in 2018 & Physio Ratan Award in 2022.He has also specialized in Myofascial Release Technique, Cyriax Orthopedic Medicine, Yoga and Sports massage.He also has 3 National patents to his credit and One chapter in Book.
She has done Bachelors in Physiotherapy and Masters in Musculoskeletal Disorders from SBSPGI. She has 7 years of teaching and clinical experience. She has 01 paper presented at INCPT AIIMS 2014 and 10 publications. She has been awarded for paper presentation at AIIMS, New Delhi. She has also participated in many conferences and workshops. She has been co-guide of more than 60 dissertations for U.G and P.G students. She is the external examiner in three Universities.
She has done BPT from Sikkim Manipal & MPT from SRHU, having a total of 10 years ofacademic and clinical experience. She has conducted many talks & camps on physical health fitness, diabetes etc. She has also worked as a Physiotherapist and Fitness trainer at VLCC, fulfilling the role of Tutor and health counsellor. She has 3 paper presentations. She was awarded as ‘Achrekar of Physios’ in Sports Connect 2019.She isalso the external examiner for two Universities.
Dr Meghna Wadhwa graduated from SBSPGI in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, received a Master’s in Physiotherapy from HNB Garhwal University in 2015, and is currently pursuing PhD from SBSU, Dehradun.She has been a clinical and educational practitioner for over a decade. A certified Manual Therapist (FOMT) and the recipient of FEMCON Star Faculty Award-2022, Dr Meghna Wadhwa has five publications in various journals of repute, three patents and two copyrights. In addition, she has published two book chapters on brain stimulation and fibromyalgia. She has also presented papers in many conferences and has delivered talks on various platforms about physiotherapy and its advancements. She manages all OPDs of the physiotherapy department at SBSU and is actively involved in liasoning and formalization of MoUs with prestigious health institutes.She is a co-supervisor for both BPT and MPT dissertations. She is also the convener of SBSU Debating Society
He has done BPT from SBSPGI and MPT from IAMR. Ha has 6 years of Clinical and Academic experience with 03 research publications. He has conducted and assisted in more than 33 webinars, workshops and seminars in the field of Physiotherapy before, during and after Covid era. He has also guided several students of BPT and MPT for their thesis dissertation. Currently, Dr. Niranjan is also pursuing Diploma in Nutrition & Health Education (DNHE).
He has a Clinical Experience of 12 years has worked at Jaipur Golden Hospital and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi. Has done ISAK Level 2 certificate from HAMILTON (NZ) Dr. Shiv has studied at Waikato Institute of Technology in New Zealand while pursuing his Graduate Diploma in Sports and exercise (Avalon Campus Hamilton)
He has completed his BPT from HIHT University and MPT in Neurology from Dolphin PG College. He has 5 years of teaching experience in Beehive College and SBS University, and over 6 years of clinical experience.
Dr. Maitri has done BPTh from Ravi Nair Physiotherapy College, Sawangi (M), Wardha (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik)in 2010 and completed her MPT in Sports Rehabilitation from Sardar Bhagwan Singh Institute of Biomedical Sciences & Research, Dehradun (HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar) in 2014. She is a Certified Dry Needling Therapist (CDNT), Certified Mulligan practitioner (CMP) and Certified Kinesiology Taping Therapist (CKTT), she has also done Specialization in Digital Health from Imperial College, London. She has a total of 9 years of professional experience. She was also empaneled as a Doping Control Officer (DCO) by the National Anti-doping Agency (NADA). Along with this she has 1 National and 1 International publication. She has done 8 Paper presentations and won 4 “best paper award”at various National and International Conferences, along with 1 poster presentation which was done at World Congress of Physiotherapy- 2015 held in Singapore. She has also delivered talks on various platforms about Physiotherapy and Gender Equity. She currently has anIndustry- Academia Collaboration with WeRehab Technologies, Nagpur to her credit. Area of interest: Biomechanics, Research.
She has done Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from SBSPGI during which she was awarded scholarship and was the gold medallist of her batch. She had done her Masters in Physiotherapy from Amarjyoti Institute of Physiotherapy (DU). She has 6 months of Clinical experience and 1.5 years of academic experience. She has complete e-training program for the International standard for the classification of Spinal cord Injury program.
Dr. Vishal Verma (PT) is a highly dedicated physiotherapist with a strong academic and clinical background. He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Neurology from the prestigious Himalayan Institute of Medical Science in Jolly Grant, Dehradun. With over 2 years of experience in both academia and clinical practice, he has developed a deep understanding of the field. He actively participates in conferences and workshops to stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy. His enthusiasm for academia and research has led him to achieve an impressive records of Research, 6 copyrights and 5 patents. He has also contributed valuable chapters to various books.

Dr. Pooja Naudiyaldid her graduation, Post graduate diploma in Medical Lab.Technology andMaster degree in Biochemistry from HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar Garhwal, with Doctoral degree from the same University. She is a registered medical laboratory technologist in Uttarakhand Paramedical Council. She has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. She has published 8 research papersin renowned national and international journal and also presented 10 papers in various national and international conferences. She has 2 book chapters to her credit. Presently she is supervising two PhD. candidates. Dr. Naudiyal has been awarded with prestigious “Shikshak Shiromani Award” in February 2020 and AcademicExcellenceAward2023 in December 2023. Her research interest includes non-communicable diseases like cardiovascular disorders, diabetes and thyroid disorders in the population of Garhwal Himalaya. She is a life member of association of clinical biochemists of India (ACBI) and all India medical laboratory technologist’s association (AIMLTA).
He has over 12 years of teaching experience in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPT, MM & MLT with various reputed institutions like Himachal Institute of Dental Sciences, Ponta Sahib (H.P), Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College, Dehradun etc.
Mr. Vishal Warikoo has completed his B. Tech from Punjab University and M. Tech. (CSE) from UTU, Dehradun. He has more than 15 years of teaching & 1 year of Industrial experience. He has qualified Certificate Course in Software Testing. His area of interest includes Networking, Security systems and Web warehousing and Database handling. He has attended more than 15 conferences and seminars. He also has 1 National patents to his credit.
Dr. Niki has done her M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Ph.D in Genetics and Plant breeding from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand). She has more than 8 years of teaching and research experience. Qualified ICAR NET conducted by Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board in the year 2014. She was recipient of University scholarship during her Doctorate Program. She has supervised 18 Post-graduate/Graduate theses. Her publications include 10 Research Papers, 8 popular articles in National and International Journals of repute, 5 book chapters published with Springer Nature/Taylor & Francis and has authored 1 book and 1 Edited book. Dr. Niki has been awarded the prestigious “Shikshak Shiromani Award” in year 2023 and “Young Women Scientist Achievement Award” by Uttarakhand Science Education & Research Centre (USERC), Department of Science & Technology, Government of Uttarakhand in 2023 in Women Scientist Conclave 2023-2024. Her area of specialization is related to Plant breeding and Plant biotechnology.
He graduated from Silchar Medical College and did his PG from Christian Medical College, Vellore. He has 29 years of experience in clinical practice and 21 years of teaching experience. He has also served in Indian Railways and ONGC Ltd.
He has graduated from AFMC Pune and did his PG from Pune University. He has 43 years of clinical and teaching experience. He has also served in armed forces medical services. He has two international publications.
Mr. Manoj Dadhwal did his graduation and post-graduation in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar Garhwal. Mr. Dadhwal is a registered medical laboratory technologist in Uttarakhand Paramedical Council. He has more than 14 years of academic and clinical experience. He has successfully completed 2 intramural micro research projects on HIV and HCV patients. He has presented hisresearch work in various national and international conferences. He has published two research papers in reputed national journals.
Ms. Preeti Bhatt obtained her graduation, post-graduation in Medical Laboratory Technology and Biochemistry from HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Ms. Preeti Bhatt is registered a registered Medical Laboratory technologist in Uttarakhand Paramedical Council. She has more than 4 years of academic and clinical experience
Mr. Naveen Singh did his graduation in medical lab technology (MLT) and post-graduation in Biochemistry from HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar Garhwal. He has successfully completed 1 research project on covid-19 with Uttarakhand Forest department and presented his research work in a national conference.He has more than 2 years of clinical experience.
She has done her M.Sc. & Ph.D. in Microbiology from Gurukul Kangri (Deemed to be) University, Haridwar, India. She has also done M.Sc in Botany from Uttarakhand Open University. She is ICAR-NET qualified. She has 4 years of research and 3 years of teaching experience. She was a recipient of the Young Scientist Award from UCOST, Dehradun (2021). Dr. Surbhi is working on Antimicrobial, Antioxidant, Proximate analysis, Antibiofilm, Immunomodulatory, Molecular docking, and medicinal plants. Apart from proficiency in various Microbiological and Nanotechnological techniques,she has also expertise in various software skills like SPSS, PRISM, RSM, STATIXL, MEGA-X, ADME, ANI Calculator and other web-based bioinformatics tools. She has about 13 publications in reputed National and International Journals and some book chapters (SCI, UGC-listed, SCOPUS-indexed with impact factor). She isworking as a Co-Investigator in a USERC-funded project.
Ms. Deepika Jalal has done her B.Sc. Biotechnology from HNBGU, Central University, Srinagar Garhwaland her Masters in Medical microbiology from SGRRIHMS Dehradun.Ms. Jalal is having 4.5 years of teaching experience.
