Seminars and Workshops
To mark the 20 glorious years of its service to the education of Biomedical Sciences, the Institute organized various Seminars cum Workshops.
- Seminar was delivered by Mr. Kamlendra Rai, QC Manager, Macleods Pharmaceuticals, Baddi on “STABILITY STUDIES” on 22nd January 2017.
- A Workshop was organized on “CHANGING SCENARIO OF PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY IN INDIA AND EXPECTATION FROM EMPLOYEES”. It was conducted by Ms. Neelam Waldia, Manager, HR and Mr. Ram Raj Singh, Head, QA Department, Rusan Pharma Ltd. Dehradun on 6th May 2017.
- Seminar was delivered by Dr. Anuj Rathi, Group leader, Jubilant Chemsys, Noida on THE PROCESS OF DRUG DISCOVERY on 17th March 2018.
- Mr. Pankaj Mishra, Founder, MEDGENRA delivered a talk to the Pharmacy student’s on the topic PHARMACOVIGILANCE. He also introduced students about his Raksha, Students Empowerment Program.
- Seminar was delivered by Mr. Pritaish Bhatia (Corporate Manager) GlaxoSMithKline, on Career Opportunities in Pharmaceutical Industry on 8th March 2019.
- Skill Development Classes Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana Scheme of Ministry of Skill Development: Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship outcome-based skill training scheme of the new Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). This skill certification and reward scheme aims to enable and mobilize a large number of Indian youth to take up skill training and become employable and earn their livelihood. Under the scheme, monetary reward would be provided to trainees who are successfully trained, assessed and certified in skill courses run by affiliated training providers.
Objectives: The objective of this Scheme is to encourage skill development for youth by providing monetary rewards for successful completion of approved training programs. The final year students of B.Pharm attend the Skill development classes in two batches (40 students in each) from March to April and then from April to May. The Training partner was Unifiers Social Ventures Private Limited-NSDC.
