Established in 1994, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology at SBSU has been a trailblazer in pharmaceutical education and research. Rooted in a rich history that dates back to the ancient practice of pharmacy, our school has evolved to meet the ever-changing demands of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare sector.

Our journey began with a vision to excel in the pharmaceutical profession, foster evidence-based practice, and nurture the next generation of leaders in the field. This vision was achieved through the dedication of our founding faculty, including the renowned Professor B.K. Razdan, who laid the foundation for excellence in pharmaceutical education, and esteemed leaders like Professor A.K. Sharma, a distinguished educator with over 45 years of experience. Professor Veerma Ram, our Director since 1998, has been instrumental in shaping the future of pharmaceutical sciences.
At the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, we take pride in our commitment to academic excellence. Our well-qualified and experienced faculty, with Ph.D. credentials from reputed universities, ensures that students receive the highest quality education.
Our state-of-the-art instrumentation laboratory and machine room provide students with hands-on experience, preparing them for the challenges of the pharmaceutical industry.
Our dedication to research extends to all facets of pharmaceutical sciences. With a record of over 275 international and national publications, we actively engage in scientific research projects, collaborating with organizations such as UCOST, NMPB, DST, and DSIR.
