Faculty Medical Microbiology and Medical Laboratory Technology

Ms. Deepika Jalal did her Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Medical Microbiology from SGRRIM&HS, Dehradun. She has over six years of experience in teaching and research.Her teaching areas include Microbiology, Immunology, Virology, and Mycology for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has published research articles in reputed journals and has presented papers at UCOST.Ms. Jalal is the holder of two patents and one copyright and has also contributed to several book chapters titled on “Shigellosis - Management and Prevention”, “Immunization”, “Immunity,” “Infection”. She has actively participated in and presented papers at various conferences, seminars, and workshops.She has also successfully completed three NPTEL Online CertificateCourses (funded by MoE, Govt. of India)on Cell Culture Technology, Experimental Biotechnology. She has teaching expertise in Medical Microbiology and its allied disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research interests focus on microbial pathogenesis and infectious diseases.
