Established in 1994, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology at SBSU has been a trailblazer in pharmaceutical education and research.

Rooted in a rich history that dates back to the ancient practice of pharmacy, our school has evolved to meet the ever-changing demands of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare sector.

Our Legacy

Our journey began with a vision to excel in the pharmaceutical profession, foster evidence-based practice, and nurture the next generation of leaders in the field. This vision was achieved through the dedication of our founding faculty, including the renowned Professor B.K. Razdan, who laid the foundation for excellence in pharmaceutical education, and esteemed leaders like Professor A.K. Sharma, a distinguished educator with over 45 years of experience. Professor Veerma Ram, our Director since 1998, has been instrumental in shaping the future of pharmaceutical sciences.

B Pharma

Duration : 4 Years

No. of seats : 100

Eligibility : 10+2 Pass with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject and Biology/Mathematics and English as a subject of study.

M Pharm

Duration : 2 Years

No. of seats : Pharmaceutics (15), Pharmacology (15), Pharmacognosy (09)

Eligibility : B. Pharm. with minimum 55% marks

B Pharma-Lateral Entry

Duration : 3 Years

No. of seats : 10

Eligibility : D. Pharm. with min. 50% marks in aggregate
