Faculty Medical Microbiology and Medical Laboratory Technology

She has done her M.Sc. & Ph.D. in Microbiology from Gurukul Kangri (Deemed to be) University, Haridwar, India. She has also done M.Sc in Botany from Uttarakhand Open University. She is ICAR-NET qualified. She has 4 years of research and 3 years of teaching experience. She was a recipient of the Young Scientist Award from UCOST, Dehradun (2021). Dr. Surbhi is working on Antimicrobial, Antioxidant, Proximate analysis, Antibiofilm, Immunomodulatory, Molecular docking, and medicinal plants. Apart from proficiency in various Microbiological and Nanotechnological techniques,she has also expertise in various software skills like SPSS, PRISM, RSM, STATIXL, MEGA-X, ADME, ANI Calculator and other web-based bioinformatics tools. She has about 13 publications in reputed National and International Journals and some book chapters (SCI, UGC-listed, SCOPUS-indexed with impact factor). She isworking as a Co-Investigator in a USERC-funded project.
