Faculty Physiotherapy

Dr. Maitri Chaturvedi is a seasoned academician and clinician with over a decade of expertise in Physiotherapy and Biomechanics. A specialist in Sports Rehabilitation and Digital Health (Imperial College, London), she plays a key role in university governance as Co-Convener for NAAC (Criterion 6) managing University Governance, Leadership, and Management; and IIC Startup Coordinator fostering innovation and creating a start-up ecosystem within the University. She also represented the University at the World Physiotherapy Congress (Tokyo, Japan, 2025) and Singapore (2015). Author of 6 major works in peer reviewed, Open Access, Scopus-indexed and PubMed indexed journals, and 2 book chapters.Recipient of 5 Prestige Awards (including 4 Best Paper Awards) with the most recent being an International recognition for Excellence in Sports Physiotherapy in 2025. She has delivered 12+ Invited Guest Lectures at various universities. She Leads an active Industry-Academia Partnership with WeRehab Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur.
