Dr. Niki has done her M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Ph.D in Genetics and Plant breeding from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand). She has more than 8 years of teaching and research experience. Qualified ICAR NET conducted by Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board in the year 2014. She was recipient of University scholarship during her Doctorate Program. She has supervised 18 Post-graduate/Graduate theses. Her publications include 10 Research Papers, 8 popular articles in National and International Journals of repute, 5 book chapters published with Springer Nature/Taylor & Francis and has authored 1 book and 1 Edited book. Dr. Niki has been awarded the prestigious â??Shikshak Shiromani Awardâ?� in year 2023 and â??Young Women Scientist Achievement Awardâ?� by Uttarakhand Science Education & Research Centre (USERC), Department of Science & Technology, Government of Uttarakhand in 2023â?¯in Women Scientist Conclave 2023-2024. Her area of specialization is related to Plant breeding and Plant biotechnology.
